Who Are We?

Foodinmytown.co.uk was started towards the end of 2006. The idea came about when two of the directors were looking on the internet for local restaurants, being new to the area they were not too familiar with the local surroundings and much to their disappointment could not find any relevant listings or menus anywhere on the internet, and so www.foodinmytown.co.uk was born!

Why We're Different...

Our aim here at foodinmytown.co.uk is to keep you updated and in the know about new and existing restaurants in and around your local area. We aim to list all restaurants, hotels & pubs that serve food or offer take-away in every county in the UK. It will be possible for you to browse menus, view images, and read what the restaurants have to say about their offerings, making your job of finding somewhere to eat, as painless as possible. So, whether you fancy a cosy night in with a DVD and a take away, somewhere romantic for you and your partner or maybe somewhere for a fun night out with a group of friends, we are here to help you find the perfect place.

When you ask someone "Do you fancy eating out tonight?" or when trying to book a table for a group of friends for dinner or a quiet place to meet business clients for lunch, the following questions can often pop up...

Where's near here/near there?
Where can we go that we haven't been to before?
I really fancy something specific, where can I get that?
Do you know of a good Thai / Italian?
I wonder if they have a late licence...?

Do they cater for our requirements?
